CaraMayan Fitness & Drama Workshop Balclutha

CARAMAYAN TRAINING  DAY 9.00am-2.00pm  For 12yrs upwards

Is a one day workshop brought to you by ICDFANZ (International Christian Dance Fellowship of Aotearoa NZ) and taught by Mary Jones from Australia, founder of ICDF (International Christian Dance Fellowship) and Director of CaraMayan.  CaraMayan is movement and stretch fitness with a meditation focus on Biblical scripture.  Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a pilates mat if you have one, a water bottle, your own lunch and running shoes for an outdoors activation (weather permitting).  Morning and afternoon tea refreshments will be provided.

Drama Workshop with Australian TV/Film actor Claire Jones.Claire is from Sydney, Australia and has been working as a professional actor and teacher for over 30 years. Claire has worked for renowned companies such as the Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir Theatre, State Theatre Company of SA, Black Swan and Deckchair. She has toured Australia, Europe, UK and USA with the critically acclaimed productions of Cloudstreet and The Book of Everything. Claire appears in the recently released film Nightingale (Netflix).Claire is co-owner of Blue Mountains Drama https://www.bluemountainsdrama.com.au/ and teaches acting classes to primary, teenagers and adults. She has previously taught voice and acting at various performing arts schools around Australia. Claire also writes and directs for drama performances as well as corporate training videos.Claire is President of the Blue Mountains based Weatherboard Theatre Company. She is founder of The Green Room – a network of actors/directors/writers in the Blue Mountains area which supports local playwrights in developing their scripts
