    On the road to carbon-neutral farming: Albany workshop

    Join us to find out how South Coast producers can get involved. 

    Producers, landholders, advisors and others involved in agriculture are invited to join us on 20 March to find out about measuring whole-of-farm emissions, increasing carbon storage on farm, the benefits to farming businesses, and accessing carbon farming opportunities.

    In this workshop landholders will also learn about carbon farming, and how the Carbon Farming and Land Restoration Program (CF-LRP) can assist with starting a Carbon Farming project.

    TIME: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

    Come at 8:30 am for registration. Both morning tea and a light lunch will also be provided.

    The workshop is co-hosted by South Coast NRM and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) Carbon Farming team.

    South Coast NRM is a partner in Meat & Livestock Australia’s Carbon Storage Partnership, which seeks to explore and develop pathways to carbon neutral red meat production by 2030 (CN30).
