Summary : Carbon Dioxide Removal is central to reaching global and national emissions targets. CSIRO’s CarbonLock program focuses on developing, integrating, scaling, and deploying novel carbon dioxide removal technologies as part of integrated carbon management. A team of more than 100 researchers across Australia is exploring novel approaches to accelerate atmospheric carbon removal and durable ocean and geological storage.
Speaker : Dr Andrew Lenton is deeply engaged in national and international Carbon Dioxide Removal research efforts, leading Australia's engagement in Mission Innovation -Carbon Dioxide Removal. He continues to serve in an advisory capacity to the Australian Government and is currently leading Australia’s first National Carbon Dioxide Removal Roadmap.
