Care and Community- in a time of genocide
Event description
How can collective care and grass root organisation help us find the meaning and empowerment to oppose genocide and organise effective resistance?
In this event, members of Strawberry Fields Collective exchange ideas with the public on how to expand the notion of self-care to encompass community, solidarity and mutual care.
Strawberry Fields Collective is a people's collective based in Lewisham that supports the people of Palestine by organising events, local actions, and activities that bring people together.
This is a free event, however, in lieu of a ticket price, we ask you to make a donation to The GAZA FLOUR FUND, a mutual aid initiative which distributes water and food to Palestinians in northern Gaza. This initiative is organized by Angus from Stand up for Gaza who is also a Strawberry Fields Collective member and Daughters of the Land.
While we usually welcome children at our events, we recommend this event for a more mature audience, as heavy emotions may be discussed.
