Description
Care, Connection, Country & a Shared Cuppa
Friends,
Third Camp warmly invites you to join us
beginning at 4:00 pm
Tuesday, 3rd March 2026
at Belair National Park Gums Oval 1
For those new to Third Camp, the cost is $25
For those who have previously walked with us, this gathering is gifted at no charge, as a way of saying we value our relationship
Parking is free if you park before the gates with a short stroll, or a park fee of $13.90 per vehicle is required.
We will begin with a Welcome to Country by Kaurna Elder Aunty Elaine Magias,
Jade will then guide an Immersive Connection to Country, followed by a gentle, guided stretch and breathing session with Jo Bradbrook.
Please bring a yoga mat or a chair. This is slow, supportive, and suitable for all bodies.
We will then settle into a sound bath with Sara Bingpore, creating space to pause and breathe.
We will yarn together while creating a collective Aboriginal artwork, sipping bush tea and spending time with:
Country as our first teacher
Each other and the relationships we are building
The work we carry every day as educators and leaders
While listening to the tunes and connecting to the stories of Mumma Blue
Through guided yarns, we will explore:
The difference between teaching Culture and embedding Aboriginal perspectives
What embedding can look like in everyday practice. This afternoon is offered in the spirit of relationship. We would love for you to join us. You’re welcome to bring a friend to share their first cuppa with Third Camp, and as a thank you, you’ll receive an extra gift.
