Tapping Into Your Nature Through Nature’s Wisdom

This series of guided Nature and Forest Therapy walks invites you to step away from the pace of everyday work and life, slow down and create space to notice, reflect and reconnect with what matters.

Drawing on the wisdom of nature, each walk explores a different aspect of our working lives and leadership.

Through mindfulness, sensory awareness, reflection and creative experiences, you’ll be invited to explore new perspectives and insights without needing to have all the answers

You can join one walk or experience the full series as a journey through awareness, leadership and direction.

Cathy Neasmith - Leadership, Career & Wellbeing Facilitator and Coach | INFTA Nature & Forest Therapy Guide

I’m fascinated by the science of Positive Psychology, wellbeing and human potential and particularly by how evidence-based approaches can help people thrive in both their personal and professional lives. With more than 15 years’ experience in career management and consulting, I’ve worked with hundreds of ASX-listed, private and not-for-profit organisations and supported more than 2000 people through group facilitation and individual coaching. My work sits at the intersection of career wellbeing, leadership, positive psychology, emotional intelligence and the science of change. I help people better understand their strengths, manage emotions, build positive relationships, navigate uncertainty and make purposeful choices about their work and wider lives. I’m particularly interested in what happens when we create the space to pause, notice and reconnect with what matters. This has led me to my latest area of practice: becoming an International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA) accredited Nature & Forest Therapy Guide. Nature and Forest Therapy brings together growing research into the benefits of nature with mindfulness, sensory awareness, reflection and creative experiences. It offers a different way to step away from the pace of everyday life, restore our capacity to think and reflect, and see ourselves and our challenges from a different perspective.
