Getting (and keeping) any job takes a similar set of skills. Self-confidence, resume writing, resilience, time management and conflict resolution, to name a few. We know these don’t always come naturally. That’s why we offer support and training.

Our friendly and experienced team are pleased to offer the Self Plus Plus Career Foundation Workshop Series to share just these skills. This series will help you:

Apply practical strategies to build your self-confidence and resilience
Communicate better, engage productively with feedback and deal with conflict professionally
Better manage your time at work (and in life)
Protect yourself from stress, decrease anxiety and embrace the opportunities life provides
Improve relationships with employers, colleagues and friends
Write a resume that highlights your strengths and makes a good first impression

The series consists of 5 separate workshops held at the Self Plus Plus Learning Hub in Queanbeyan. Each workshop runs on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 12pm and takes 2 weeks to complete:

Self-confidence Building for Adults (Weeks 1 & 2)
Time Management Course (Weeks 3 & 4)
Resilience Building (Weeks 5 & 6)
Conflict Management and Resolution (Weeks 7 & 8)
CV/Resume Writing Skills Training (Weeks 9 & 10)
