Carers Clay Retreat

This retreat has been mindfully designed for full-time carers (eligible for carers pension or full-time 40+ hours) in our community—those caring for elderly parents, disabled children, or partners with full-time caring needs. Happymess Studio warmly invites you to join us on Saturday, 29th March 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM, for a free clay workshop that offers a moment of calm, connection, and creativity. Spaces limited, bookings essential.

During the workshop, you will create your own ceramic bird feeder, a meaningful and beautiful keepsake to take home.

This workshop has been co-designed and funded by a Bellingen Council grant to show our respect and gratitude to those who undertake an often unpaid or unseen role. It is thoughtfully crafted to refill the cups of those who so often refill others. Co-facilitated by local ceramic artist Jane Northway from "Wonky pots studio" and registered Art Therapist Bronwyn Napiorkowski from "Happymess Studio".

Whether you’re new to working with clay or have prior experience, this supportive and relaxing environment is all about you. You’ll enjoy a day of creativity, mental health self-care, and supportive conversation.
