Founder of the not-for-profit organisation Revival Runway, Sofie is passionate about helping entrepreneurs and creative businesses thrive through innovation, collaboration and purpose-driven leadership. She will share her journey, lessons in entrepreneurship, and the power of building businesses that create lasting impact.

Sofie Carfi, Founder of Revival Runway
Sofie Carfi understands that the secret to a thriving creative economy lies in the balance of art and analytics. As a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) holding a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Fashion Entrepreneurship, Sofie has spent her career bridging the gap between creative passion and commercial viability. Driven by a mission to champion independent Australian fashion, she founded Revival Runway in 2019 as a 100% volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation that provides independent Australian designers with free marketing content, mentorship, and live runway opportunities. Under her leadership, the organisation has become a vital launchpad, with volunteer creatives (models, photographers, make-up artists) successfully finding employment and independent designers becoming sustainable businesses. Sofie’s philosophy centers on cumulative brand equity, collaborative industry-academic partnerships, and social responsibility. When she isn't driving the business strategies behind the next generation of Australian fashion, Sofie grounds herself in community service. After years of volunteering with schools and sporting clubs, Sofie now dedicates her time to volunteering in aged care, proving that true entrepreneurship is as much about building people as it is about building enterprises.
