Student Pitch Night

Have a business, side hustle or big idea? This is your chance to pitch it to a panel of entrepreneurs and business leaders in a Shark Tank style event. You'll receive expert feedback and compete for cash prizes to help bring your idea to life.

Whether you're already running a business or have an idea you've been waiting to share, Student Pitch Night is an opportunity to build your confidence, refine your pitch and connect with mentors who can support your entrepreneurial journey.

Date: Wednesday 9 September
Time:
6.00pm – Doors open and refreshments
6.30pm – Pitches begin
8.00pm – Winners announced and refreshments
Location: 1979 Room, Carey Baptist Grammar School
Drinks and light refreshments provided.

We welcome pitch applications from all Middle School and Senior School students. Whether you have a business, side hustle or simply a great idea, we'd love to hear it.

This event is open to students, parents and staff, with everyone encouraged to come along, support our young entrepreneurs and hear the next generation of ideas.

What to expect

• Pitch your business, side hustle or business idea to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders.

• Receive valuable feedback to help refine and strengthen your idea.

• Connect with mentors who can support your next steps.

• Hear from other student entrepreneurs and be inspired by their ideas.

• The judging panel will select the top three pitches to receive seed funding prizes, with $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second place and $500 for third place to help turn their ideas into reality.

No polished business plan is required, just a great idea and the enthusiasm to share it. Whether you're selling a product, running a service or dreaming up your next big venture, we'd love to hear your pitch.
