Event description
Are you caring for a family member or friend living with additional care needs? Join us for:
- sound bath meditation with Emora Suara
- self-care tips from Helping Minds
- aromatherapy mindfulness activity
Upon registration, please advise if you have any accessibility requirements to participate in the event activities.Â
Additional information for sound bath meditation:
It is recommended to lay down during the sound bath meditation session. If you have your own, please bring along a mat or rug you feel comfortable to lay on. The facilitator will have spare equipment if required. We can make alternative arrangements by providing a chair (instead of laying down) if preferred.
Although the sound bath meditation session is at the beginning of the event, there is no obligation to participate. It is not recommended for the following:
- Young children under 10
- People with cardiac pacemakers, artificial valves or cardiac arrhythmia
- People with metal implants
- Pregnant women (especially the first or last trimester)
- Post-surgery (less than 3 months)
- Epileptics
