Caring for Coast Celebration
Description
Join Nature Conservation Margaret River Region for an evening celebrating another year of Caring for Coast and the incredible community helping care for our coastline!
Caring for Coast brings together community members, local organisations, stakeholders and cultural custodians to strengthen connections to Country, build resilient coastal ecosystems and support coordinated efforts to protect and restore our special coastal environments.
From revegetation days and cultural coastal walks to collaborative stakeholder catch-ups and coastal forums, the program creates opportunities to share knowledge, build relationships and take meaningful action for our coast. This year, over 400 volunteers contributed their time, energy and passion to making it all happen!
Come along to reflect on the year's achievements with a presentation showcasing highlights from our events. We'll also hear from a specialist in the field about what's happening on our coastline (to be announced) - all over a refreshment at the The Common Bistro.
It's a chance to reconnect with fellow volunteers, partners and coastal champions, celebrate what we've achieved together and look ahead to another year of caring for our coast.
All Caring for Coast participants, volunteers, partners and interested community members are warmly welcome!
