Come join Uncle Dave Wandin for a day of caring for Country.

Uncle Dave will start the day with morning tea, a Welcome to Country and a smoking ceremony, before taking everyone on a tour around the station, speaking about indigenous land management and cultural heritage.

We will then get our hands dirty and get into some landcare, helping the health of the historically significant place of Coranderrk. We'll finish with a BBQ and time to reflect on connections to place.

Fed Square and Creative Climate gratefully thanks its partners for making Planting possible: Creative Victoria, Creative Australia, Bupa, Melbourne Water and Burndap Birrarung burndap umarkoo collaboration, Now or Never and Landcare.

By joining this event, you're helping to care for Birrarung and its catchment, contributing to the vision of the Yarra Strategic Plan, connecting with Birrarung as a living entity and exploring what a reciprocal relationship with the river can look like.
