Caring for Land and Sea Country

Join us for a night to hear from traditional owners and how they continue to interweave their culture and knowledge systems with the great barrier reef as they have for thousands of years. Modern marine park management takes an approach that is informed by western scientific and traditional knowledge systems, allowing for research and management collaboration. By hearing from our guest speakers, learn about the cultural significance of the ocean and land and how it connects to marine science. 

Along with our speakers, we will have a grazing platter as well as some tea and coffee.
