    Event description

Online Taster: A Spiritual Perspective of the First Years

The very young child has a natural connection to the spiritual world. As parents and caregivers, we can recognize this as a source of strength and support for the child. In this introductory talk, we will explore ways that we may help children maintain this connection through practical, everyday activities.

This is the beginning discussion in the larger conversation of a course designed to develop your understanding of the profound, developmental groundwork being established during the first three years of a child’s life.

    Monday, November 18, 2024 | 4:30-6pm PST
    Cost: $15

Online Course: Introduction to Parent and Child Work

Join us for this online introduction to creating and shaping a Waldorf child and caregiver program. Being a Birth-to-Three teacher requires creativity and flexibility in order to balance the needs of children and adults. We will explore and deepen our understanding of working with this dynamic and how to best support families, and also focus on practical skills such as storytelling and circle activities.

    Three Mondays: November 25, December 2 & 9, 2024 | 4:30-6pm PST
    Cost: $150

In-Person Course: Devotion in the First Three Years

What does it mean to be so deeply devoted to life that it becomes a physical experience? In this course, we will consider the importance of wonder, awe, and reverence in relation to the very young child. Join this in-person course to develop your sensitivity to the inner needs of the child and develop your abilities in the practical art of storytelling, lullabies, and moving rhymes.
