Invited Speakers:

A/Prof Muge Belek Fialho Teixeira

Associate Professor in Interior Design, School of Architecture and Built Environment, QUT

Associate Professor Müge Belek Fialho Teixeira is an award-winning researcher whose work explores how digital fabrication and biomaterials can reshape sustainable design. Her work focuses on adopting advanced manufacturing, experimentally investigating digital fabrication and circular materials using collaborative robots, and integrating AI into design and construction.

Dr Ahmed Sakr

Sessional Academic and practitioner, School of Architecture and Built Environment, QUT

Ahmed Sakr is a sessional academic, researcher and practitioner whose work combines sustainable design, digital fabrication, and material reuse. His research explores the use of by-products and waste materials in additive manufacturing to create functional façade elements, directed toward reducing waste and improving environmental performance in the built environment.

Adrian Taylor

Regenerative Lead, BVN Architecture

Adrian Taylor is the Regenerative Lead at BVN. Drawing on over a decade of applied research in architectural practice and academia, he connects designers with the tools and expertise to eliminate carbon, increase circularity, and restore habitat. Adrian believes the key to achieving regeneration is shifting our perspective on value, from sunk costs to intergenerational investments.
