AniSyd Carnival of the Cursed is just around the corner and the spirit of Halloween is in full bloom so dress up in your scariest cosplays, prepare your ears for some jammers 🎶 and gear your soul for a horror filled night with some wonderful activities that have been prepared for you 😱.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This event is strictly 18+ only. Attendees will need to bring your physical government issued ID (Passport, Driver's License, etc.) or have it on the Service NSW app. Photos of ID will NOT be accepted! If you do not have valid ID, the venue security will not let you in.

If you purchased a UNSW Student ticket, you may be required to show your UNSW student ID on the night. Additionally, if you purchased an AniSyd member ticket, please bring your 2025 AniSyd member card.

Expected Behaviour

Remember to treat everyone with respect and drink responsibly. No outfit is an invitation for harassment. Ask for consent before taking photos of people. If you feel uncomfortable, go to our rapid response Execs or Venue Security posted around the venue. You can identify them by their hi-vis vests. 🦺

Cosplay Competition 👗: Rock up in your best and your spookiest fits for a chance to win FREE TICKETS TO SMASH next year! On top of that, courtesy of our wonderful sponsor Sugo Toys! there will be some additional BIG prizes up for grabs 🎁 determined by the amazing guest judges that will be adjudicating the competition! So if you haven't already, sign up for the competition here and come next to the main stage at 7pm 🥳.
Photobooth 📸 : Come take a horrific photo at our FREE Photobooth on the night that will be printed before your eyes so that the spirit of Halloween lives on! Will be located next to the main area near the entrance.
Murder Mystery 🔎: Hatsune Miku has been disappeared! All that remains is her skeleton ☠️... Become a detective for the night, solve clues and unravel the mystery to win a BIG prize!! Find Miku's skeleton near the entrance and follow the clues from there... 👻
Gacha Zone 🎰: Oh the horror. Come beat the odds at our Gacha station for a chance to get some free prizes! Sponsored by Anime At Abbotsford
Trivia 🧠: Brainsssss! Are you a plant 🪴 or are you a zombie 🧟? Come test your anime knowledge with some speed trivia where you'll battle it out with other contestants to win some prizes! Every 30m past the hour from 6:30-8:30pm in Collab Space 1. Some prizes to be won sponsored by Isekai Gacha!

🎸 Live Performances 🎺

On top of the activities above we'll also have live music from the main stage throughout the night!

6:00 - 7:00pm: Sunset Morioh
8:15 - 9:15pm: !nvolution

In between their performances we'll be running the Cosplay Competition at 7:15pm and the Raffle Drawings at 9:30pm 🎟️.
