Be filled with the happiness, the hope and the freedom of the late ‘60’s and 70’s with the legacy of music from two of the great singer/songwriters of the time - Carole King and James Taylor!
With songs such as It’s Too Late, Beautiful, Natural Woman and Will You Leave Me Tomorrow to name a few, Carole King’s Tapestry album which gave theme songs to a generation.
And relive the good times with songs from James Taylor's incredible catalogue, songs like Fire and Rain, Sweet Baby James, Too Late Baby and Up On a Roof.
James Taylor and Carole King have a long friendship – it was James who encourage Carole to step out of the song-writers studio to perform her own songs. Prominent singers Di Bird and Peter O’Regan capture the essence of this friendship through their music with their dynamic performances. Both artists have frequently been stylistically compared to Carole King and James Taylor.
Now, with the same amazing onstage chemistry as those superstars, they take their audiences back in time with favourites like How Sweet It Is, Carolina in My Mind, I Feel the Earth Move, and of course, the incomparable, You’ve Got a Friend.
Under the Musical Directorship of arranger Michael Bartolomei and with highly respected guitarist Clive Lendich swapping between electric & acoustic guitars and on bass the great Justin Dileo and powerhouse Paul Knepp on drums, this will be a show of sheer joy!
