Cascadian Nights at Little Creatures
Event description
This winter, we’re slowing things down and leaning into the season with a hosted dinner by the Little Creatures crew. We're hosting a celebration of long nights, bold flavours, and beautifully brewed beer.
Guided by our Brewers, Beer Ambassador, and Executive Chef, you’ll be taken on a delicious journey through every course. Each dish thoughtfully paired with a beer and brought to life with stories from the team behind it all.
The evening begins with canapés paired with Rogers’ Amber Ale, a silky, mid-strength ale that brings together whole hop flowers and toasted malts in perfect balance. Expect small bites with big flavour: smoked salmon with sweet corn fritter and celeriac remoulade, wood-fired local triple cream brie with melted quince, and Oyster KilDennis, which is our smoky, spicy spin on kilpatrick with ale and chilli.
Next up, a comforting plate of portobello and pine mushroom tortellini, served in a braised leek and cider cream sauce, paired with White Rabbit Dark Ale, whose nutty, roasted malt character mirrors the richness of the dish.
For the main, we’re serving 12-hour beer-braised Victorian beef brisket with parsnip purée, roasted root vegetables and pomme dauphinoise, a hearty centrepiece complemented by Little Creatures' new Cascadian Nights Dark Ale, our showstopper brew for the evening: bold, hop-driven, and dark as the winter sky.
To finish, orange and thyme crème brûlée, a velvety, spiced dessert, perfectly matched with White Rabbit Chocolate Stout, where deep chocolate and roasted notes tie together a night of slow food and great beer, shared around the table with friends old and new.
Just one sitting, one menu, and one chance to soak up everything we love about winter.
