Cashless & Care-Free
Description
What does it take to care?
We all depend on care, yet so much of it goes unseen, unpaid and undervalued.
From the tenderness of holding someone close to the physical and emotional labour of holding everything together, care demands strength, endurance, love and resilience.
Through circus, movement, humour, poetry and live music, Vulcana brings the weight, repetition, balancing acts, exhaustion and beauty of care to the stage.
Featuring Vulcana's community circus ensemble, older women's dance troupe, WaW, and youth synchronised swimmers from Aqualina, this immersive promenade performance invites us to look differently at the everyday acts of care that hold our lives and communities together.
Come along and help us put care where it belongs: centre stage.
