CASP17
Description
EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS SEPTEMBER 10, 2026. Beginning September 11, the regular registration fee will be $1,350 for academic participants and $1,750 for industry participants.
CASP17, the 17th Critical Assessment of Structure Prediction conference, will bring together the international structural biology and computational modeling community to discuss the latest results from the CASP17 experiment. The meeting will take place in person in Rome, Italy, December 1–5, 2026, at the Hotel Quirinale in the city center.
The conference will feature presentations by independent assessors and leading prediction groups, as well as discussion sessions, posters, and opportunities for informal exchange. As in previous CASP meetings, the program will highlight advances in the prediction of protein and RNA structures and their complexes, immune complexes, ligand binding, and conformational ensembles.
CASP meetings are distinctive because they are centered on blind community-wide prediction experiments. Participants learn what current methods can truly achieve, directions where the field is moving, and which challenges remain open. CASP conferences provide an important opportunity for predictors, assessors, experimentalists, and users of structural models to exchange ideas, evaluate progress, and help shape the next stage of computational structure prediction.
