Cassy Judy Announces Mixtape, "The Cassy Judy Mixtape", Set to Drop November 7th, 2025

Sydney, Australia - Cassy Judy is proud to announce the upcoming release of her highly anticipated debut mixtape, "The Cassy Judy Mixtape", set to drop on November 7th, 2025. Recorded at Quarterpipe Studios in Gymea Bay, this EP showcases Cassy Judy's unique blend of poignant storytelling and eclectic musicality, drawing inspiration from her experiences as a trans woman and former criminal lawyer in Broken Hill.

"The Cassy Judy Mixtape" takes listeners on a journey through themes of social justice, identity, and personal growth. With tracks like "Learn to Love Again" and "Love Letter to Society", Cassy Judy tackles complex issues with unflinching honesty and wit. The mixtape also features upbeat tracks like "Xanthan Gum" and "I've Come So Far Calypso", showcasing Cassy Judy's versatility as a performer.

Cassy Judy's experiences as a criminal lawyer in Broken Hill have deeply influenced her music, with songs like "You're Gonna Get Sent" reflecting her observations of the justice system. "I sat in the homes of indigenous people, listened to their experiences, and helped them where I could," Cassy Judy says. "I saw their lives as they were, without judgment."

The mixtape's recording process was a creative highlight for Cassy Judy, who was able to experiment with different sounds and styles at Quarterpipe Studios. "Recording 'Learn to Love Again' allowed me to access a no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners approach to my recording," she says. "With my best friend Adriana present on the cello and me blowing up a storm on sax, I was able to dig deep and pull out a performance for the ages."

Cassy Judy's identity as a trans woman is front and centre in her music, with songs that explore themes of self-discovery and empowerment. "I've followed a path whereby I came to terms with my identity and realised that I needed to make a big change in my life," she says. "I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I also knew that it was the way forward, shining with joy and light."

The mixtape's release is set to be accompanied by a series of live performances and events, where Cassy Judy will showcase her unique blend of humor and heart. With her distinctive voice and unapologetic style, Cassy Judy is set to make a lasting impact on the music scene!

Cassy will be supported by trans wunderkind Lauren Hersey and dynamic all-girl bands Carla and Headspacer.
