Casting Off

From the dynamic company A Good Catch, Casting Off is a joyful, absurd, witty, and poignant circus show. A refreshing and uplifting conversation between three generations. The performance is for an hour and is then followed by ‘Laugh and Craft’, Participants are invited to bring their current craft projects for an hour of talking textiles. The hour of conversation and crafting is a casual interaction with the cast and community allowing for extended generational conversation.
Casting Off is important: it suggests that the voices and bodies of women of all ages are worthy interesting and even funny. That we should be seen and heard, that we are dynamic, courageous, and hilarious.
