Castlemaine Town Hall

Forest Creek Folk invites you to an afternoon of choral performance featuring seven choirs from the Bendigo and Castlemaine region:

  • Castlemaine Pride Choir 

  • Mainesong

  • Bendigo Chorale 

  • Yes Men 

  • MaCapella 

  • U3A Choir 

  • Forest Creek Folk 

Hosted by Lucy Armstrong from Main FM, the Eisteddfod brings together a diverse range of local vocal groups in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

All proceeds from the event will go to Main FM, supporting the work of our local community radio station.

The Castlemaine Chorale Eisteddfod is proudly sponsored by Boomtown Winery, Bar Midland, Front Office, and Forest Creek Records. This project is generously supported by the Mount Alexander Shire Events Grants Program.

Event details:

  • Date: Saturday 6 September 2025

  • Venue: Castlemaine Town Hall, 25 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine

  • Time: Doors open at 1:00 PM

    Event runs 1:30 – 3:30/3.45 PM

  • Intermission: Around 2:30 PM | Bar available

Tickets: (plus booking fee)

  • Full: $30

  • Concession: $20

  • Children (15 and under): $15

All tickets are general admission. Refunds available up to 7 days prior to the event.

Access information:

Mobility:
Step‑free access via the main entrance, with wide corridors and seating available for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. Please talk to one of the volunteers on arrival so they can seat you.

Hearing:
We are in the process of arranging Auslan interpreting for this event - this page will be updated once confirmed.

Vision Support:
If you are blind or have low vision, staff are happy to guide you to your seat either on arrival or by advance request.

Additional Access Features:

  • This event accepts the Victorian Companion Card, and one support person may attend free. Please contact us in advance to arrange your companion’s seat.

  • Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available.

  • Registered assistance animals are permitted.
