Cat Containment Information Session

Hosted by Beechworth Urban Landcare and Sustainability and funded by Indigo Shire this information session is to assist individuals with the introduction of the new cat containment laws in the Shire.

From 1 May, all cats are not permitted to roam outside their owner's property boundary and all cats being registered for the first time must be desexed.

This information session will include short presentations from a range of speakers followed by a self guided tour to inspect 4-6 selected local homes with a range of cat containment arrangements in place.
