Cath and Dave's Wetland Wander

Cath and Dave have created a incredible Wetland for wildlife. Join us for a wander to the wetland to see how this projected has progressed. Hear from Wetland Ecologist David Carew about the process of creating this habitat. In addition to this for those interested we will have a quick rundown on how to record sightings on the Inaturalist nature ID app. If you are interested in this please download the Inaturalist app to your phone prior to the session.
Many of you have seend the start of this process and helped with planting and weeding. The total walking will be approximately 1.5km on sometimes steep and uneven ground.
After the walk we will have a short talk and demostration about the use of Wildlife Camera traps and species recording using inaturalist. Tarwin Landcare now has these cameras available for loan and we would love to have them out on your properties learning more about whats out there. Thanks to Bald Hills community fund which enabled us to purchase these cameras.
