I’ll Show You Mine – A One-Woman Show by Cathrine Mahoney
The Encore: back by popular demand

Life. Love. Loss. Vibrators. Bottom hair.

Newcastle, she’s back! You asked, you begged (well, “begged” is a slight stretch), you slid into her DMs. So Cathrine is heading back to Earp Distillery for one more night. It’s the same show you loved, now packed with brand-new stories, some of which she probably shouldn’t be telling.

From divorce to dating disasters, solo parenting and chasing long-lost dreams, Cathrine Mahoney lays it all bare in her hilariously unfiltered one-woman show. I’ll Show You Mine is part confessional, part comedy night, part therapy session you didn’t know you needed.

Growing up, Cathrine wanted to be Sir Michael Parkinson or Billy Connolly (there weren’t many female role models growing up in the UK in the 80s). Instead, she became a PR queen, married an Immortal, became an author, a single mum, and now an over-sharing raconteur who will have you laughing, cringing, nodding in recognition, and maybe even shedding a tear.

These days you’ll also hear her on Unleashed, Mamamia’s podcast for Gen X women, which she co-hosts with Mary Coustas, Sally Hepworth, Bruna Papendra, Grace Lam and Dr Ginni Mansberg. It sits in Apple’s Top 30 podcasts in Australia every week.

Expect dating tales that prove midlife romance is not for the faint-hearted, the perils of personal grooming, questionable slides, and the reminder that it’s never too late to take a chance and follow your dream.
