Description
Holbrook Landcare Network, AGnVET Holbrook and Culcairn, and Murray Local Land Services invite you to see how producers are using feedlot/containment areas as well as offering the opportunity for conversations and knowledge sharing.
Agenda
8:00am - Meet at 'Eastgate' 399 Knox Rd, Table Top for refreshments.
8:30am - View Mintor Beef's 3-4 different containment area designs (hotwire, conveyor belt, semi-permanent troughs, concrete troughs) showing a range of input costs / scale.
9:30am-10:00am - Drive to “Ellerslie Park”, 45 Cummings Rd, Culcairn.
10:00am - 11:30am View Rennylea Angus' intensive cattle feed-lotting system and hotwire system.
All welcome to come along to one or both properties. Refreshments and morning tea provided.
