An Intimate Caviar Tasting + Long Lunch

Join us for an intimate and luxurious Sunday long lunch at Pickled Poet Thirroul on Sunday 25 October. With very limited seating, this one-day-only experience offers a rare opportunity to enjoy a more personal and curated afternoon. This first-of-its-kind event for Wollongong brings together MasterChef Australia Top 10 alum and local chef Gill Dinh, alongside chefs Jordan and Christian of Pickled Poet, and premium caviar specialist Kasia of Caviar Tin.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne before enjoying a guided caviar tasting, sampling 4 premium varieties as individual caviar “bumps”, each thoughtfully paired with a 4 course shared-style collaborative menu. Each dish has been designed to highlight the unique flavour, texture, and character of each caviar, giving you the opportunity to experience it both on its own and within a thoughtfully crafted dish, created and prepared especially for this event by our collaborative chef team.

Set within the alfresco space of Pickled Poet, this relaxed yet refined long lunch is designed to be savoured slowly, with optional wine pairing available to compliment each course.

A 2-hour immersive experience of food, wine, and conversation, celebrating caviar, collaboration, and connection around the table.

This menu is nut-free and predominantly gluten-free, with gluten-free pasta available upon request. Please note, due to the nature and focus ingredients of the menu, dairy-free requirements cannot be accommodated.
