Cawthron Freshwater Champions Forum
Event description
Freshwater Champions Aotearoa New Zealand celebrates individuals and communities who are helping to restore and protect the health of our freshwater.
Register now for the inaugural Freshwater Champions Forum. We'll be announcing and celebrating the 2024 Freshwater Champions at this event.
The forum will begin with two panel discussions featuring experts, champions on the ground and those who are still learning what works best. The topics for these discussions will be;
- How can catchment groups engage, inspire and leverage for future impact? Chaired by Landcare Trust CEO Nick Edgar
- Science on the ground - what science can bring to catchment care and how to access it. Chaired by Secretary for the Environment and Ministry for the Environment Chief Executive James Palmer
The forum will conclude with the announcement of the 2024 Freshwater Champions and a celebratory joint networking function with attendees from the two-day Our Land and Water Symposium which is being held in the same venue.
We are collecting separate registrations for the Panel Discussions, and the Champions Announcement/Networking Function. Please select tickets to BOTH if you want to attend the entire forum. Or you can book to just attend one or other if you prefer.
Registrations close on 14 May. Tickets are limited. Please let us know ASAP if you have registered and are no longer able to attend.
Disclaimer: All registered participants for this event will be added to the Freshwater Champions Aotearoa New Zealand mailing this. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.
