Cawthron Public Tours 2026
Description
Cawthron Institute is opening its doors!
After the fantastic response to our 2025 tours at the Cawthron Aquaculture Park, we’re excited to invite you behind the scenes at our Halifax Street site.
Book your spot on one of 12 tours running on Saturday 14 November.
During this hour-long tour, you’ll get a glimpse into the science happening at Cawthron and learn about our work in freshwater health, food quality testing, seagrass restoration, blue technologies and more.
The $20 koha from your ticket goes towards our 2026-27 Summer Research Scholarships, supporting emerging scientists.
