    About

We are thrilled to welcome you to the CBCC BRAVE Workshop 2 - Canva training event, where we are committed to empowering women returning to the workforce and considering self employment as a viable option for financial independence.

Teaching Canva to women re-entering the workforce with aspirations of self-employment offers numerous advantages. Firstly, it equips them with essential digital skills crucial for navigating today's entrepreneurial landscape. Secondly, Canva's intuitive platform fosters creativity and flexibility, enabling them to craft compelling visual content for their businesses. Additionally, mastering Canva empowers these women to create professional resumes, portfolios, and marketing materials, essential for establishing their brand identities. Moreover, proficiency in Canva opens up opportunities for remote work and freelancing, providing them with the flexibility to balance entrepreneurship with other responsibilities. Ultimately, learning Canva instills confidence and a sense of empowerment, empowering these women to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams with the necessary tools and skills at their disposal.

Our facilitator Stephanie De Francesco will be sharing valuable insights in digital marketing!

Stephanie De Francesco emphasised that at the core of every successful business is a deep understanding of the customer, supported by data-driven insights. To thrive, businesses should actively listen to customer feedback, conduct experiments, and conduct research to ensure that their products meet the evolving needs of their target audience. Join us for an enlightening and empowering event that aims to equip women with the knowledge and inspiration needed to thrive in the world and return to work.

    Networking

At this event, where we anticipate 60 attendees, networking holds significant importance for women returning to work with aspirations of self-employment. Firstly, networking provides an invaluable opportunity for them to expand their professional contacts and build relationships within their industry or niche. These connections can lead to potential collaborations, partnerships, or client referrals, essential for growing their businesses. Secondly, networking allows these women to gain insights, advice, and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs or professionals, helping them navigate the challenges of starting and running a business more effectively. Additionally, networking events often serve as platforms for learning about new trends, technologies, and opportunities in their field, enabling them to stay competitive and innovative. Furthermore, networking fosters a sense of community and support, providing these women with encouragement, inspiration, and motivation on their entrepreneurial journey. Overall, networking plays a crucial role in helping women returning to work pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations by facilitating connections, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within their professional networks.

    What you need to bring!

Canva does have an app for mobile devices, however we will be using the computer version of Canva for training purposes. Please bring your own laptop, paper and pen. We prefer you have a paid version of Canva so that brand kits can be created, however, the free version is awesome and will work well, nonetheless.

Food & Drinks provided thanks to the Phoenician Business Centre.
