Collie Perfect is proud to present a launch party at Cafe Gummo for the Canine Breakbeat Research: Vol. 1 EP releasing on the 1st of November. This EP features 6 tracks of 160 BPM high-energy audio designed for the canine-minded raver.
Support acts from local DJs Andurrz and Zathaalgor.
Expect a variety of genres such as donk, breakbeat hardcore, techno, UKG, and other rave-y inspired underground sounds.
Physical merch including CDs will be available too for purchase at the venue for the first time ever! There are limited items available, so get in quick!
Entry Information:
$10 entry (cash) is available at the door, but tickets may be limited.
Doors open at 6pm, music from 7pm onwards.
Artist Information:
Collie Perfect is a Melbourne-based DJ and music producer that makes breakbeat and rave-inspired electronic music. She comes from a background of listening to furry musicians and underground artists and producing electronic music for over a decade. Since starting the project, she has appeared in a number of events in the underground furry and DIY music scene over the last two years playing standalone gigs and furry conventions in VIC, NSW, QLD, and SA.
You can listen to Collie Perfect on a variety of streaming services, including bandcamp, soundcloud, and all major subscription streaming platforms.
Dress Code:
Fursuits and other furry apparel such as ears, tails, and paws, as well as rave outfits are all encouraged, but please be mindful there is no designated changing area or cloak room so plan accordingly. Please also be mindful of the space your outfit takes up and those around you.
Absolutely no hateful iconography, slogans, police/military inspired uniforms or otherwise objectionable outfits are allowed. If you turn up with any of this you will be immediately asked to leave and barred from attending any future events by the host.
Venue Information:
Cafe Gummo is an 18+ licensed venue, so please make sure you bring your ID.
The venue is partially accessible for special needs patrons, and a wheelchair ramp can be brought out on request. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom at the rear of the beer-garden, with a handrail installed. Please contact either the venue or the host beforehand if you need to make use of the wheelchair ramp to make sure everything is set out in advance.
Strobe lighting is not used at the venue unless otherwise noted on the door and on promotional materials, however lighting effects with rapid changes may occur.
Cafe Gummo is a bar that is home to a diverse group of punters, many of whom come from backgrounds who have experienced harassment and bigotry, as such the venue will do their best to minimize harm to these members and patrons. As such, all forms of racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, bullying, violence, and anti-social behaviour are all unwelcome and will be actively dealt with at the venue.
There is a maximum capacity of 100 patrons at this venue. Please note that there is no cloaking room available, so please keep your personal belongings to a manageable size and keep them on your person.
