CBS Jam Workshop - December 2020

Our final jam workshop for the year will be held at the Harmonie German Club on Sunday 6 December from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and will be presented in a format similar to but more intimate than the monthly blues jams.

The workshops are not intended to show you how to play your instrument, but they may give you a better understanding about how blues music is structured and how you can communicate this to the other members of your band. Advice and mentoring will be provided by a house band featuring a selection of our finest players. The workshop will also provide information about playing in a band situation and about how Blues songs are structured. Participants need only bring their instruments. A PA system and back line including a drum kit, two guitar amps and a bass rig will be provided.We will endeavour to make sure that all participants get a chance to have a play on material they feel comfortable with.If you know of any budding blues players who may be interested, please send them an invite.
