Our next jam workshop for aspiring blues musicians will be held at the Harmonie German Club on Wednesday 3 November at 7pm and will be presented in a format similar to but more intimate than the monthly blues jams.

The workshops are not intended to show you how to play your instrument, but they may give you a better understanding about how blues music is structured and how you can communicate this to the other members of your band. Advice and mentoring will be provided by a house band featuring a selection of our finest players. The workshop will also provide information about playing in a band situation and about how Blues songs are structured.

Participants need only bring their instruments. A PA system and back line including a drum kit, two guitar amps and a bass rig will be provided.

We will endeavour to ensure that all participants get a chance to have a play on material they feel comfortable with.

This is a COVID safe event.

Forward facing seating only. You must remain seated unless using the restroom, ordering drinks, meals or performing in a jam set.

Masks must be worn at all times in the club except whilst drinking, eating or performing in a jam set.
