CBS July Jam Workshop

Our next workshop for aspiring blues musicians will be held at the Harmonie German Club in Narrabundah on Wednesday 7 July from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and will be presented in a format similar to but more intimate than the monthly blues jams.
The workshops are not intended to show you how to play your instrument, but may give you a better understanding about how blues music is structured and how you can communicate this to the other members of your band. Advice and mentoring will be provided by a house band featuring a selection of our finest players. The workshop will also provide information about playing in a band situation and about how Blues songs are structured.
Participants need only bring their instruments. A PA system and back line including a drum kit, two guitar amps and a bass rig will be provided.
We will endeavour to make sure that all participants get a chance to have a play on material they feel comfortable with.
