Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) invites you to attend a CCAA Heavy Vehicle (HV) Policy Workshop, 19–20 May 2026 in Brisbane.

This national two-day workshop is designed for senior leaders and managers in heavy vehicle management, policy and regulation, logistics, operations, and engineering across the Australian cement, concrete and aggregates (CCA) sector.

Focused on four pillars — productivity, safety, decarbonisation, and driver attraction and retention — participants will hear from policymakers, regulators and industry experts, and work collaboratively to consolidate industry strategy and policy.

This is an interactive hands-on workshop where participants will:

• Receive expert guidance on recent changes to the safety & compliance provisions of Heavy Vehicle Law across Australia

• Hear updates on jurisdictional approaches to HV productivity, including access frameworks and higher productivity vehicles

• Shape CCAA-led industry strategy and policy development

The CCA sector moves over 30% of Australia’s road freight task by weight (2025), making it one of the nation’s largest freight sectors. The industry faces rising costs, stalled productivity, limited decarbonisation pathways, workforce and driver shortages, and stricter safety obligations.

Governments are engaging with CCAA on solutions. Your participation will directly inform CCAA’s strategy and policy development with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, National Transport Commission, and state and federal transport agencies, ensuring coordinated and practical industry positions.
