    Event description

This year’s ‘Lift’ Summit on May 17-19 is at Berwick Church of Christ. It sees us build on the development of our personal leadership skills, spiritual impact, and systems thinking needed to maximise our impact. While sensitivity is needed regarding personal resilience and post-COVID challenges, small steps in multiple aspects of church life will reap big dividends!

While we will enjoy a range of local speakers, stories, and workshops, we will also be hearing from experienced practitioner Joel Chelliah who, with his wife Sharon and their dedicated team, has seen the development of a significant multi-site church in Perth. Joel is a gifted leader, communicator and author, and has overseen churches large and small in his 10-year role as State President of the Australian Christian Churches, where he also serves as a National Executive member.

This year’s Summit will reinvigorate us through prayer, networking, and inspiration, ‘lifting’ us with the energy and passion that will optimise the call and cause of Jesus.

We would love to see your whole team register as we explore the empowerment of leaders guided by the Spirit to shape effective churches. We will again sponsor Tasmanian delegates and regional teams seeking assistance via the CCVT office; and also have aspects for generations ministries leaders specifically.

Let’s celebrate together what it is that God is stirring in our midst as a Churches of Christ family.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
