Lancet Commission on Women, Power and Cancer.
Dr Ginsburg, the founding chair of the Lancet Commission will discuss the objectives of the Commission and outline the content of its 2023 report, which focussed on global trends in cancer risks and survival for women, and the ways in which power dynamics shape the experiences of cancer for women as patients, clinicians and carers.
She will outline the Commission’s early impact, including on the development of the European Women and Cancer Index launched in 2026, and its future research agenda.
