Celebrate Mooroolbark Makers Market 2021

Come down to beautiful Hookey Park on the corner of Station & Charles Streets, Mooroolbark, for the Celebrate Mooroolbark Makers Market.

When: 10am - 4pm Sat 27 and Sun 28 March 2021

Where: Hookey Park, Station Street, Mooroolbark

The Makers Market is accompanied by activities and entertainment on both days, detailed below. 

Saturday 27th March

But wait, there's more!

We've closed half of The Terrace front car park and the little bit of George Street alongside it, so that you can meander through (or from) the Brice Ave shops. In this space, you'll find all our schools stalls, PONY RIDES, our Festival Caravan and maybe even the Mooroolbark CFA fire truck!

First Impressions Clothing Exchange will be open inside The Terrace Shopping Centre with some special festival happenings, next door to the giant Meccano "display and play", the Recycled Sculpture Competition Exhibition and the Writing Competition Entries ready for you to sit, relax and have a read.

For Pizza and Donut festival specials, head to Dough Machine and if you're wandering the shops of an afternoon, enjoy buskers Chris Alcoma and Candice Farrugia-Roberts.

Finally, grab yourself some dinner from one of our local food outlets and enjoy the Karaoke at the new and super cool festival venue, Red Earth Lane, 36 Manchester Rd.

Sunday 28th March

More festival specials will be available from Dough Machine, displays will continue inside The Terrace (in case you missed them yesterday) and on the streets will be busker Hayley Crymble.

Red Earth Lane's Sunday session is a chilled Open Mic Night. Head on down with your takeaway, 6 - 7.30pm.

Please book your FREE TICKET to help us with contact tracing and limiting crowd numbers.

If tickets don't sell out, the remaining tickets will be available at the door (where we will have contact-tracing sign-in - QR code or hard copy). However limited numbers are available for each session to allow for appropriate social distancing, so please book to avoid missing out!

We ask that you:

• stay at home if you’re unwell. 
• use one of the 4 marked entry/exits to the market.
• sign in to the market using the QR code on-site or the manual entry.
• do not attend if you have visited a red zone or public exposure site, as noted on the Department of Health Victoria | Case locations and outbreaks website.
• bring masks, regularly hand sanitise and ensure physical distancing of 1.5 metres at all times at the event.
