Event description

Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Yirranma Place

Honouring the next generation: strength, vision and legacy

Join us at Yirranma Place this NAIDOC Week for a vibrant evening of storytelling, culture and community. In partnership with The Burraga Foundation, we’re proud to present an intimate panel yarn with respected Aboriginal voices, followed by live music by the legendary Col Hardy -the first Aboriginal person to win a Golden Guitar, at the Australasian Country Music Awards in Tamworth in 1973 - and delicious food by one of Sydney’s most exciting Indigenous chefs, Berowra Waters Inn's Executive Chef Jack Brown.

What’s On:

Panel Discussion
Featuring Uncle Col Hardy, Uncle Shayne Williams, Luke Ballard and Jeff Hardy – a powerful conversation exploring legacy, identity and the path forward.

Live Music
Uncle Col Hardy shares stories through song, with a few classics to lift the spirit.

Bites by Jack Brown
Fresh from the kitchen of Berowra Waters Inn, Indigenous chef Jack Brown will be serving a beautiful spread of native-inspired snacks. Jack is also collaborating with Two Good Co. to help deliver a special NAIDOC Week feast rooted in culture and connection.
