Celebrate the launch of Archer Studio + Archer Magazine #21: the ART issue.
Event description
Join us for Archer’s most ambitious event yet!
The magazine you know (and hopefully love) has expanded into Archer Studio: a not-for-profit creative agency run by and for the LGBTQIA+ community, reflecting our many intersections.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we’re throwing a launch party at LCI Melbourne’s gorgeous Collingwood location, featuring performances, dancing, art installations, merriment, cheap drinks, speeches and surprises!
And that’s not all…
As an extra-special cherry on top, this event will also launch Archer Magazine #21: the ART issue!
Whether you’re a longtime reader, contributor, art lover or new flame, come along as we mark our evolution into the creative agency space, and the launch of our ART issue!
WHEN: Saturday, 14th of June, 7:30pm till late
WHERE: LCI Melbourne, 150 Oxford St, Collingwood VIC 3066
TICKETS: Waged $50 / Community $35 / Unwaged $25

Archer events are safer spaces. This means that upon entry, folks agree to work actively against homophobia, racism, transphobia, classism, fatphobia, ableism, and other forms of oppressive behaviour. Please let someone from the Archer team know if this safety isn’t upheld.
This is a masked event. We will have air purifiers running in the venue throughout the event. Free RATs, masks and sanitisers will be made available for all attendees. We request mask-wearing for those who are able. We request that ticketholders test before attending, and please stay home if you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms.
We acknowledge our event will take place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to Indigenous elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
The venue is wheelchair accessible. The venue entry is on the ground floor, where there are accessible bathrooms. Lift access is available for the lower ground gallery space, where the event will be held.
If you have any specific access requirements, general questions, or adjustments that may help you feel comfortable, please get in touch with us by emailing info@archermagazine.com.au.
