Event description

In 2024 we started this kaupapa to explore the possibility of a youth hub being developed in Massey and the feasibility of such an investment for our rangatahi. This came about from the growing sense from our community and local organisations that there is a need for a youth-specific space to better support our rangatahi within Massey.

Today, we are excited to invite you to a special community hui to launch and celebrate the completion of the Massey Youth Hub feasibility study!

πŸ“… Tuesday, 12th August

πŸ“ 8 Vadam Road

⏰ 10:00 am - 12pm

This is an exciting opportunity to come together, take some time to reflect on the journey so far and acknowledge a major milestone towards our shared vision of creating a space where our rangatahi can feel a sense of belonging and access the support that they need, to improve their haoura.

During this hui, we will share an overview of the findings and insights from the independent study, as well as some recommendations and potential options for what a youth hub in Massey could look like.

This will be a great opportunity to connect with local organisations and passionate community members, and be part of the ongoing kōrero as we look ahead to how we bring this vision to life for our young people.

We hope to see you there!

A light morning tea will be provided. Please RSVP for catering purposes.
