Celebrate World Environment Day & Join Our Beach Clean-Up
Event description
In celebration of World Environment Day, Mindroom Innovation is proud to host a Beach Clean-Up in Burleigh Heads in partnership with Clean Up Australia, right near our campus. This meaningful morning event will bring together students, staff, and the wider community to help protect one of our most beautiful natural assets—the beach.
Our beach clean-up day begins with an inspiring talk in the Diploma of Project Management classroom, led by environmental expert Yandressa Karine Rodrigues de Pinho:
- Master in Environmental Engineering – IFF (Brazil)
- Environmental Engineer – IFF (Brazil)
- Environmental Technician – CEDTEC (Brazil)
Event Schedule
11:30 – 12:00 | Before the Tide
Welcome and project intro, followed by a relaxed picnic and idea exchange at Mindroom Innovation.
12:00 – 12:30 | Circle Pearl
Beach integration with a symbolic bracelet-making activity, linking personal and shared purpose.
12:30 – 13:00 | Action Wave
Beach clean-up and waste categorisation.

🤔 What to Bring: water bottle, comfortable shoes, a positive attitude! (all necessary materials for the clean-up activity will be provided by Clean Up Australia
