What to Expect -
We invite you join us in the worldwide celebrations for the United Nations International Day of Yoga and experience the benefit of the wonderful practices of Yoga Asanas, Meditation & Kirtan to relax your body, mind and spirit!
Whether you have a regular self-care practice or just getting started this celebration has everything to help you to take a step forward in your wellbeing journey.
You are able to come to part of this celebration or the whole event. Yin Yoga will take place from 4:30-5:30pm and then from 5:30pm onwards will be a relax & meditate session.
The event includes
- Breathwork
- Gentle Slow Moving Yin Yoga Session -suitable for everyone
- Kirtan/Mantra Meditation
- Yoga Nidra (full body relaxation)
- Mindfulness
-Take home meditation practices
- Vegan / vegetarian refreshment
- Welcoming community
All the tickets are donation based
FAQ:
*Is this celebration suitable for complete beginners to Yoga?
Yes, anyone will benefit from this celebration! You do not need any prior experience of Yoga.
*Do I need to bring anything?
A yoga mat, 2 pillows or 1 pillow & bolster, blanket, eye pillow (optional) and water bottle. Anything else for your comfort
*What if I find it hard to lay down?
We will have some chairs available should you prefer a chair
*Can I come straight from work?
Yes, there are bathrooms and a change space for you to use.
*Is there parking available?
Yes plenty of street parking and car park.
*Do I need to book?
Bookings is essential for everyone's comfort and catering purposes.
* Can I help/volunteer at this celebration?
We are a nonprofit organisation so any help will be greatly appreciated!
