Parking

There is no parking available at 30 Collins Street. There is an agreement with First Parking for Monash Staff to receive $18 flat rate parking located at 28 Flinders Lane, underneath the Sofitel Hotel across the road from 30 Collins St. The First Parking carpark entry is in Flinders Lane via Spring Street. Please note it is the second car park on the right as you enter Flinders Lane. To receive this flat rate Monash staff must present their parking ticket to security at the ground floor concierge counter, or to the Monash Conference Centre reception on level 7 before 5:30 pm each day for validation.

Facilitator

Dr Ben Bullen
Lecturer, School of Clinical Sciences, Monash University

Ben is a Lecturer in Wound Care at Monash University, Honorary Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University and Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University. He is a Council Member of the Royal College of Podiatry and Podiatry Ireland and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the former institution and The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Ben has contributed to tertiary multidisciplinary diabetes foot teams in Australia, England and Scotland.


Panellists

Ana Belen Baos Minguez

BPharm (Germany and Australia), GCert Wound Care (Monash University)

Ana Belen is an experienced clinical pharmacist specialising in wound management, including chronic wounds. With a strong clinical background in both acute and community-based wound care, Ana brings a practical, outcomes focused approach to managing high risk patients.

Complementing her clinical expertise, Ana has undertaken further education in nutritional and environmental medicine through the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), supporting a more integrative view of wound healing and chronic disease.  

Ana regularly presents on advanced wound care practices, the role of systemic factors in healing, and multidisciplinary approaches to improving long term outcomes.

She is currently undertaking a Masters’ degree in Wound Care, lecturing at Monash University and provides education at allied health organisations.

Dr Michelle Gibb

Director and Founder, Wound Specialist Services - PhD, M Nsg Sci (NP), M Wound Care, BN, CF

Dr Michelle Gibb is a nationally and internationally recognised nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience in wound management. With advanced qualifications and a passion for mentoring others, Michelle brings deep expertise and a practical approach to wound care education.

Dr Rebecca Iselie
Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine, Royal Melbourne Hospital Department of Aged Care

Rebecca is a Geriatrician with a special interest in chronic wounds. She works at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she is a member of the multidisciplinary Chronic Wound Clinic and the Skin Integrity Governance Committees. In 2020, she completed a Master of Wound Care at Monash University. Rebecca is actively involved in research and education in wound care and is passionate about improving outcomes for patients living with chronic wounds.

Annie Walsh
Manager, Northern Beaches Hospital Partnership | NSLHD Executive Unit
Teaching Associate, Master of Wound Care Monash University

Annie is a Podiatrist specialising in high-risk foot disease, with over 15 years’ experience across clinical care, research, and health service leadership. She completed a Master of Wound Care at Monash University, where she received the Monash Prize for Wound Care.

Annie has held senior roles in wound management, including Head of Department for the Royal North Shore Hospital High Risk Foot Service and Ryde Podiatry Department, and Senior Podiatrist at Liverpool Hospital. Annie is also Co-Chair of the NSW Health Agency for Clinical Innovation’s Chronic Wound Management Initiative, where she led a statewide taskforce to strengthen wound management systems across NSW. Annie is currently Manager of the Northern Beaches Hospital Partnership, overseeing the Public Private Partnership’s operational delivery for NSW Health, while maintaining clinical practice as a Senior Podiatrist with the John Hunter Hospital High Risk Foot Service, in addition to her role as Teaching Associate, Master of Wound Care at Monash University.
