Celebrating 25 Years of Rural Australians for Refugees

RAR turns 25 in November - you’re invited to celebrate!

What started as a conversation around a kitchen table in the Southern Highlands NSW is now an Australia-wide movement. Please join us as we celebrate this wonderful milestone - a quarter of a century of advocacy for compassion and fairness in Australia’s refugee policy.

With special guests and celebrations

• Keynote speakers: David Manne, Refugee Legal and Alison Battisson, Human Rights for All

• Guest speaker: Poet, writer and activist Hani Abdile

• Launch of Jan Govett’s 25 year history of RAR

• Launch of The Two of Us, Jill Parris’ first volume of the stories of the movement

• Delicious Afghan lunch, morning and afternoon tea

• Gorgeous Voices choir

And more!

Join us in person or online. Why not host a 25-year party for your group and join the livestream with us?
