Event description
Calling all students, graduates, teaching staff and friends from:
- The Bachelor and Environment and Society
- The Bachelor of Social Science (Environment)
- The Bachelor of Social Science in Socio-Environmental Assessment and Policy
In 1984, RMIT University launched a pioneering degree, focussed on Socio-Environmental Assessment and Policy. Over the past 40 years our program has evolved, adapting to the changing demands of the field, changing its name, but all the while remaining a unique program addressing critical issues at the intersection of environment, technology and society.
This year we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of what we now know as the Bachelor of Environment and Society. Since its inception, the degree has educated thousands of passionate graduates who have gone on to be sustainability change makers across many types of organisations. We invite everyone who has been involved in this program to join us for canapes and drinks to celibate.
Hear from alumni from different eras, chat with past and present teaching staff and enjoy the opportunity to network with peers and colleagues as we look forward to the future of environmental leadership.
Date: Wednesday, 23 October 2024
