Kia ora dear women, you are invited to join us on Thursday, 28th Nov from 6-8:30pm at the Mary Potter Community Center for:

Celebrating the masculine: A Collective Wisdom Women's Red Tent circle to honour the masculine

“In a world where it is normalised to complain and play in opposition with one another, let's do something radical and instead; celebrate”

WHY:
This gathering is an opportunity to rediscover the power of reflection and celebration.

We come together for an evening dedicated to honouring the masculine—not by focusing on differences or challenges, but by truly seeing and appreciating the beauty and strength that men bring into our lives.

This space is designed for thought-provoking conversations and deep connections that will leave you feeling seen, heard, and profoundly loved.

In a world where negativity and complaints have become the norm, we choose to do something radical: we choose celebration.

Embracing the idea that 'what you appreciate, appreciates,' we create a space where men are recognized for who they are, not just what they do.

Timed closely around International Men’s Day, this event is a heartfelt tribute to the men in the world who uplift and support us.

Through shared stories and genuine connections, we honour their greatness, humour, wisdom, and love.

By celebrating them, we foster an inner warmth that is going to ripple after each participant leaves feeling inspired and more deeply connected to not just the men in their lives, but to life itself.

This is more than about romantic partnerships.

Regardless of your relationship status, this is for all women, in all seasons and stages of life to take a moment to tune into her heart and experience the power that is circle.

This is for:

Women Seeking Connection & Community with similar values:
Those who wish to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the men in their lives, whether they are partners, fathers, friends, or colleagues.
Those Interested in Positive Reflection & Gratitude:
Women who want to shift their focus from challenges or differences to celebrating the strengths, contributions, and positive impact of men.
Individuals Ready for Celebration:
Those who are ready to embrace a radical approach of celebration and gratitude, moving away from negativity and complaints
Community-Oriented Women:
Women who value community and shared experiences and are looking for a supportive environment to connect with others who share their values.
Anyone with a Desire to Heal & Grow:
What we do here is not just for the men, but for everyone.

“The word courage comes from the French and Latin word that means heart, a universal symbol of love. I think it is perfect since love requires courage, and being loved gives us courage” - Alison Armstrong.

FAQ:
What is the Red Tent and what do you do there?
The Red Tent movement is worldwide and stemmed from the book The Red Tent written by Anita Diamant.
Red Tents are spaces created by women, for women to come each month and share their stories, relax, feel nurtured, seen, and heard.
There is nothing required of you and the main goal is for you to relax, recharge and reset.

Each month at Red Tent Aotearoa is different, we invite a different woman to share her story, experience and interest with us so that we all can learn and become more confident. Some of our themes in the past have been; The Power of Pleasure, The Power of Identity, The Power of Grief, The Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness, The Power of the Spoken Word, The Power of Positive Touch, and The Power of Humility. Our belief is that 'Power-with' instead of 'Power-over' will change the world.
