In the spirit of Ishq - e - haqiqi (the Supreme universal love), Indian classical singer and teacher, Sudhanshu Sharma, will offer traditional Indian Rāga with Persian poetry, a Sufi song in Urdu and weave his divine and melodic improvised vocals throughout the program. Sudhanshu will be supported rhythmically by Maharshi Raval on tabla.

Geeti and Gyan will be sharing an opportunity for everyone to part take in the call and response spiritual practice of kirtan, weaving together Sanskrit, English and Sufi mantra in celebration of love and unity across cultures. They will also share an original hand pan and guitar composition inspired by the poetry of Rumi.

Dr. Ehssan Sakhaee will be bringing his gift of poetry to the evening, sharing both his original writings and as well as other poets to inspire love and deep presence.

Maddie De will be bringing her transformational art of Sufi dance to the evening to uplift our vibration and expand our consciousness.

The event will conclude with a deeply relaxing and transcendental sound healing journey incorporating the celestial sounds of alchemy crystal bowls, flute, hand pan and vocals.

Sudhanshu Sharma is an internationally renowned and award winning master Indian Classical Musician and Vocal Teacher from Delhi, whose singing and facilitation invites participants on a unique and authentic journey into the heart and soul of music. His raga recitals are remarkably blissful and serene. His singing style reflects both the Indore Gharana tradition, and his own unique imaginative soulful expression.

Maharshi Raval is a celebrated, Sydney-based tabla player, originally from Ahmedabad, India. He is in high demand across Australia lending his earth moving beats and rhythm to hundreds of Hindu festivals and classical concerts.

Dr. Ehssan Sakhaee is an experienced leadership and wellbeing educator, mindfulness coach, engineer, and poet. He co-founded Street Poet, a charity focused on sharing inspirational poetry and creative expression in public spaces. He has authored several poetry collections, including "You, Yes, You" and "To You is Our Return”.

Dr. Sakhaee has spent the last decade integrating principles of presence and heart-based leadership into his teaching at institutions including the University of Sydney, UCLA Extension, UTS, and the University of Canberra. Senior Lecturer in Professional Practice & Leadership at the University of Canberra's Faculty of Science and Technology, where he continues to contribute to the fields of education and personal development.
